The main court house is in Kingman but there are branch court houses in Lake Havasu and Kingman. Kingman has four judges.
Judge Roth is the family court judge and the only female judge. She has been on the bench over 7 years and was formerly a child support enforcement attorney with the Arizona Attorney General.
Judge Conn has been on the bench since 1987 and was formerly a Mohave County Attorney and is the only Democrat judge. He is presiding criminal judge.
Judge Moon has been on the bench since the early 1990's and was formerly with the Mohave County Attorney currently assigned primarily criminal cases.
Judge Chavez has been on the bench since 1990 and is assigned primarily civil cases. He was formerly Kingman City Attorney.
Judge Weiss has been on the bench since the mid 90's and is assigned primarily criminal and juvenile cases and was formerly in private practice in Bullhead City.
Judge Gurtler was also formerly in private practice in Bullhead City. He hears civil cases in Bullhead City and sometimes Havasu.
Judge Bartlett is the presiding judge and formerly in private practice in Lake Havasu. He has been on the bench since the late 1990's and divides his time between Havasu and Kingman given his administrative reponsibilities.
All are Republicans except Judge Conn and relatively conservative. The Mohave County Public Defenders office, for instance, is not represented and never has been in the 20 years I have practiced in the county.
